Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tur fas-e-I-tis) typically sets off a stabbing discomfort in the bottom of your foot near the heel. The pain is generally the worst with the initial number of actions after awakening, although it can similarly be set off by long periods of standing or increasing from sitting. The discomfort is typically even worse after a workout but not throughout it.

The discomfort of plantar fasciitis feels like a stabbing feeling in

the heel of the foot. This pain usually establishes slowly and is

typically worst in the morning, when a person takes the first

couple tries of getting out of bed. Plantar fasciitis might affect

one foot, or it might be felt in both feet.

Causes of Plantar Fasciitis

Though plantar fasciitis can occur without an apparent cause, elements that can increase your risk of developing plantar fasciitis can be due to...

Age - Plantar fasciitis is most normal in between the ages of 40 and 60.

Specific types of workout - Activities that put a great deal of stress on your heel and correlating tissues-- such as long-distance running, ballistic leaping activities, ballet dancing, and aerobic dance, can add to an earlier start of plantar fasciitis.

Foot mechanics- Being flat-footed, having a high arch or perhaps having an irregular pattern of walking can affect the approach weight is dispersed when you're standing and put included tension on the plantar fascia.

Weight- Excess pounds can stress extra tension onto your plantar fascia.

Professions that keep you on your feet - Factory staff members, trainers and others who invest the bulk of their work hours walking or standing on challenging surface areas can damage their plantar fascia.

Treatment

Treatment for plantar fasciitis may usually consist of rest, ice, or corticosteroid injections by a Doctor. If these methods are ineffective, an extreme case would require surgery to help relieve tension on the plantar fascia. Often these methods can be cost upwards of thousands of dollars and may only be temporary relief.
